Initial recumbent layout - nearly vertical seatback, cobbed fork
(clearance was designed in for suspension travel)

In this picture you can see how little frontal area this bike has.
Note special lightweight test shoes.
Fenders, shifters, and brakes have been added, new wheels and tires, revised steering/fork.
Powdercoated blue with matching rope seat.
Fairing made no difference in top speed.
Initial version of new recumbent. Planned mods:
Lowered fork, narrower (non-knobby) front tire, slightly increased seatback angle.
